Happy Holidays,

I pray this newsletter finds you and your family Blessed.

Our meetings in 2026 will be conducted on the second Monday of each odd numbered
month beginning January 12, 2026. I hope to see you there.

The USPS is going through some rough times, unfortunately this affects our families, friends, and
loved ones. We as a family will get through this. Keep your head up, focus on doing the right thing
the first time, every time. Always remember, we are leaders.

We are experiencing a reduction in force (RIF). Yet no member has lost their job as an employee
of the USPS.

As leaders we are held to a higher standard. The expectation is to lead by example, on and off the
clock. Attendance, getting engaged with the task at hand. Holding your employees accountable. If
we continue to do the employees’ work, we will also continue to get their corrective actions. Our
mission is Safety and providing for our Families.

The way to accomplish this is through Service (Moving the mail). Service is our product. Remember,
you and your family are customers too.  Without our product we would not be gainfully employed.

First, let us remind ourselves that leadership is not static. The great leaders are made, not born.
They are those who constantly seek to improve themselves, adapt to new challenges and lead
with their heads and their hearts.

A great leader knows their strengths and weaknesses. They take time to reflect on how their
actions and decisions impact those they lead. They listen. Seeking honest feedback, even when it
is uncomfortable because it is through feedback that we grow.

Are you a Leader?

To be continued.
