Dear Members,

I pray this newsletter finds you and your family Blessed.

Please ensure all EAS mail delivery is recorded accurately in RADAR.

Congratulations to MCSO Ron Ensminger, welcome back to Columbus.

NAPS headquarters has provided a guidance template to assist EAS employees who have, or may, receive notice from USPS of a proposed downgrade of their position. Upon receipt of final decision from the Deciding Official, NAPS members should immediately contact NSPS headquarters. This process applies only to Non-Disciplinary Reduction in Grades (Position Reclassification).

Members, we must all treat others with dignity and respect, ELM 673.61. Remember, there is no “I” in TEAM. Insubordination is not acceptable.

The Columbus Plant is now a Regional Processing and Distribution Center (RPDC).

RPDCs are a key component of the USPS network modernization plan, part of the Delivering for America plan. These large facilities are designed to sort all mail and parcels within a specific region, action as hubs for long distance transportation, also handling local package sortation.

Please remember to perform the duties of your position with integrity. Integrity, at its core, means being honest and having strong moral principles. It’s about acting in accordance with one’s values and beliefs, even when that is difficult or when no one is watching. This involves being trustworthy, dependable and showing fairness and decency in all interactions.
